How did people in the stone age make there drinks?
Introduction
Children will be using a measuring cups, learning order of operation, in making there own stone age drink. The children will make there own creation of there own types of drinks. They will basically choose there own recipes through communication among peers.
Task
The students will create there own individual drink, they will have to use precise measurements and ingredients to make the stone age drink. They will have to use exact measurements to make there own drink (shake). They will use measuring spoons that will create a perfect combination of what they believe people in the stone age drank.

Conclusion
At the end of this lesson i would like the students to have the concept of what using measurements are important while making drinks. Taking measurements is important in math but it also will help the students learn proportions and how to limit themselves to the proper ingredients.
